Two kinds of wallet

|---|---|---|
| Whose key | Yours. Never sent to CINDR's server | Created by CINDR, stored encrypted on the server |
| What it's for | Receives Sell & Return SOL | Pays for one campaign's buys |
| Where | Wallets → Primary wallet | Wallets → Campaign wallets |
Primary wallet
Set automatically by your first Solana sign-in. To change it, choose Change primary wallet, connect the new wallet and sign a message. It's free. Every campaign then sends future proceeds there. You can't change it while a sale is in progress.
Created in your browser
If you started with Create a wallet, that wallet is generated locally and becomes your sign-in and primary wallet. Its key is saved encrypted with your passphrase in this browser, not in CINDR's server vault. Unlock it with the passphrase on later visits; signing out leaves the encrypted copy in place. Your session can expire without losing the saved wallet.
Back it up from Wallets → Browser wallet backup → Export browser wallet key. Enter the passphrase, acknowledge the warning, then explicitly reveal and copy the key. Import that key in Phantom, Solflare or Backpack to restore access elsewhere. CINDR cannot reset the passphrase or recover a cleared browser wallet. Keep an exported key before funding it, clearing site data, moving to another domain or changing devices. Do not create it in private browsing if you need to keep using it.
The browser wallet can also sign campaign-key exports and primary-wallet changes after a fresh passphrase unlock. Campaign wallets remain separate server-encrypted spending wallets.
Campaign wallets
- One campaign per wallet, so budgets and holdings never mix.
- Fund it by sending SOL (and your payment token, if not SOL) to its address.
- Keep about 0.01 SOL in it for network fees.
- Hold only what upcoming cycles need. Treat it like a spending account, not a treasury.
Each wallet shows its SOL balance, token holdings and the campaign it pays for.
Exporting a key
You can export any campaign wallet's private key, for example to move leftover funds or use the wallet in Phantom.
- Wallets → Export private key on that wallet.
- Confirm you'll keep it private.
- Sign with your primary wallet. The message names this one campaign wallet, so it unlocks only that key.
- The key is shown once, hidden until you choose to show it. Copy it, then close.
Import it in Phantom, Solflare or Backpack with Add wallet → Import private key.
After an export, the wallet shows Key exported with the date. CINDR keeps its copy, so campaigns keep running. Anyone who has the key can move the wallet's funds, so never share it.
How keys are protected
Campaign wallet keys are encrypted before they're stored, and only decrypted to sign that wallet's own transactions. They are never shown in the app unless you export one, and an API key can never export one.
